Conformance status
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content may not yet fully meet the standard. No website can be certified as perfectly or permanently accessible, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a finished state.
How we test and build
Every change to this site runs an automated accessibility check (axe) that must report zero violations — on both desktop and mobile — before it ships. That automated gate only catches part of the guidelines (roughly a third to a half of WCAG issues), so we also review by hand: keyboard operation and focus order, descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, colour contrast, and support for the operating system's "reduce motion" setting. Pages are built with semantic HTML so they remain readable and navigable without styling.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some areas may not be fully accessible. As of our July 2026 review, we are aware that a few third‑party components we embed are outside our direct control and may not fully meet Level AA:
- The Cloudflare Turnstile anti‑spam widget on our contact and waiting‑list forms.
- The embedded map on the Contact page.
- An embedded YouTube video in one blog article.
Where these appear, we provide text alternatives for the essential information — for example, our full address, phone number, and email are available as plain text on the Contact page.
